This cultivar is an upright, thorny shrub which produces crops of gold-colored raspberries. It is called everbearing because it produces two crops on each biennial cane (unless pruned otherwise): a fall crop (August to October) on the top 1/3 of the canes and a second crop the following late spring/early summer (June) on the bottom 2/3 of the canes. Salvia - May Night
Salvia nemerosa ‘May Night’
The Salvia ‘May Night’, Salvia nemorosa ‘Mainacht’, has glowing purple stems loaded with violet-purple flowers that bloom from June to October. With its blue-gray, lance-shaped aromatic foliage, it makes an attractive accent all summer long. It has a plant height of 18′ and a spread of 18-24′ and stays in excellent compact form. Selected Perennial Plant of the year in 1997, one can see why. Salvia ‘May Night’ should be planted in full sun in a moist well-drained area.To increase bloom time, it should be cut back after the first bloom. ‘May Night’ is a magnet for butterflies, bees and hummingbirds and is deer-resistant. It is hardy for container gardening and provides excellent cut flowers. Blooms look wonderful next to Sedum ‘Matrona’, Achillea ‘Coronation Gold’, and Saliva ‘Snow Hill’.

The Chinese Latern Lily, ‘Sanersonia aurantiaca’ produces bright orange flowers, which bloom all summer long on short stems. The little flowers are shaped like chinese lanterns or hanging bells. The Chinese Latern Lily will bloom all summer long in the right climate and prefers well-drained soil and full sun. It may require some support as it is a climber. The Chinese Latern lily was Introduced in South Africa in 1852 and will make a great addition to any landscape.
Cote d’ Azur Pinks
Saponaria ocymoides ‘Cote d’Azur Pinks’
The Cote d’Azur Pinks, ‘Saponaria ocymoides’, is one of the most beautiful, useful and low care, hardy perennials. Deep pink and unscented flowers make an excellent ground cover, edging or rock-garden plant. Its tiny semi- evergreen foliage is almost totally covered with flowers in June. Dense, compact, with a spreading and trailing habit which is ideal for banks, terraces or low walls. Thrives anywhere. The bulbs are best planted in autumn while they are still plump. Plant them 2-3 times their own depth and at the equivalent spacing between bulbs. They enjoy well-drained soil in full sun, with shade at the base. Alternatively they can be planted in deep containers, using loam-based compost.

An excellent plant for the woodland garden. The stems contain a bright yellow sap which was used as a dye by Native Americans. The Golden Poppy likes the evenly moist, rich soil of wooded areas or the spot under a large tree. In colder climates, cover with 3-4 inches of mulch to help it survive the winter.

Tacca chantrieri grow wild in the tropical forest in Yunnan Province, China, where they can get as tall as 36″. These beautiful flowers grow best in well-drained soil and high humidity. They like shade, and good air circulation. They don’t like too much heat and air that is too dry. They will flower year around.

Tigridia - Mixed Colors
Tigridia ‘Mexican Shell Flowers’
The Mexican Shell Flowers, ‘Tigridia’, produce triangular shaped flowers with vivid colors of scarlet, yellow, pink, orange, red and white. The flower throats are spotted with red, purple or mahogany. These Mexican native bulbs have flashy summertime blooms to 6 inches across. The individual flowers last just one day, but since there are a number of buds, the blooming period lasts for several weeks. They are great in containers, borders, or flower beds. They are hardy in USDA zones 8 - 10. In colder areas, dig the bulbs in the fall and store until spring.

The Tigridia Mixed, ‘Tigridia’, a spring planted corm, produces large red flowers. Tigridia are also known as Mexican Shell Flowers and Tiger Flowers. The blooms adorn tall stems and appear to float above the foliage. They are very pretty when used in sunny borders or beds. The foliage of Tigridia is similar to gladiolus, and it produces several flowers per stalk. The common name comes from the spots on the flowers that look like tiger spots.

The Tree Peony Houki, ‘Tree Peony’ produces dark red flowers on woody stems. Paeonia suffruticosa, or Tree Peonies, are loved by everyone who has ever seen them in bloom. A deciduous shrub, not a tree, the Tree Peony has woody stems. A mature shrub produces dozens of huge, long-lasting, silken blooms which delight the eye. Tree Peonies prefer evenly moist, well-drained soil with a pH close to neutral. If your soil is extremely acid, add some lime when planting. Remove deadwood after the plants leaf out in spring and remove spent flowers. Tree Peonies usually take 2 - 3 years to become established and bloom heavily.

The Japanese Toad Lily, ‘Tricyrtis Hirta’, is a hardy perennial from Japan that is about 24-30″ tall. This plant produces exotic, star-shaped blooms with purple markings. These fully hardy, ornate beauties resemble orchids. They are great for part or full shade in the border or as part of a woodland garden. They flower in autumn so they will bring a welcome splash of color to even dark shady spots.

The Catawba Grape (Redish), Vitis labrusca ‘Catawba’ , is a grape that is commonly used for wines, champagnes, jams/jellies and juice. The Catawba Grape has a very sweet taste that makes it perfect to serve fresh on the table. Grapes are faily high maintenance plants but easily worth the additional time to care for the plant.
Grape - Mars
Vitis labrusca ‘Mars’
The Mars Grape (Blue-Purple), Vitis labrusca ‘Mars’ , is similar in character to the Concord grape. It is a seedless grape which is excellent to serve fresh on the table. The Mars Grape is also great for jams and jellies. The Concord Grape is the most disease resistant grape that we carry and it ripens mid to late August.

The Suffolk Grape (Red), Vitis labrusca ‘Suffolk’, produces large loss clusters of very round, medium sized red grapes. These grapes are seedless, have very tender skin and are delicious eaten fresh or cooled down as a dessert. The Suffolk grape ripens a couple weeks earlier than the Concord grape. This grape is very winter hardy and can be used for table or commercial uses. Grapevines can be ornamental, and are valuable as shade or screen plants in the home or landscape
